About Cats and Dogs Netbuster Baits

Over the last few years we have provided raffle prizes to help raise funds for this charity as well as taking part in the matches. Kev and Mandy Allen who started the Big Bash did so to help show their appreciation for all the care and support that Mandy received when she was diagnosed with breast Cancer and up to date have raised over £44,000.00.
The team are very proud to be involved with the Big Bash and hope that you will join us and support this very worthy cause.

A brief history

David Andrews has been fishing since the age of 10 - a time when, unlike now, if you wanted different baits you had little choice unless you made your own. Not surprisingly, wanting to gain an edge and catch more fish, that is exactly what he did, developing an understanding of bait in the process.
It was not until he was looking for a new business to acquire that he came across Cats and Dogs Netbuster Baits. He was looking for a business that would provide a challenge and had potential to grow and Cats and Dogs seemed to fit these criteria very nicely indeed. So it was decided that, upon completion of the purchase, the business would be relocated from its previous home in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire to Doncaster, just a short drive from Davids home.
To ensure everything runs smoothly, the couple have assembled a strong team to look after customers and produce the best range of baits they possibly can.

The products

Cats and Dogs product range of is always under review, all our products are made from carefully selected British products and are made in house.
For 2011 we have introduced a new range of Hard hooking pellets, soft hooking pellets, bread crumb base mixes and ground bait/ base mix additives that can be used by the specimen fisherman as well as the keen angler.
Among the products on offer are blended pellet ground baits, method mixes and ground baits, fishy and meaty styles plus a special version for different types of fishing. This is complemented by a large selection of pellets and pastes, soft feeds and not to mention its Spongy Lite Floaters for taking carp off the top. Additional items include the aforementioned liquid additives and the intriguingly titled Hemp Porridge, which works as well as it sounds.
Cats and Dogs manufacture some of the best and most innovative products for a wide range of angling disciplines. We concentrate heavily on developing baits that the anglers can be confident in using. Due to many requests from specimen anglers an anglers that like to make their own ground bait and base mixes we have introduced a growing range of additives to out list.
"We also take into account the health of the fish - this helps us produce a bait that is not only nutritious to the fish but made from ingredients that limit the amount of waste the fish produce. This is very important today, especially in our very well stocked commercial fisheries. Our baits are designed to give all anglers an edge that will let them put more fish in their net."

Looking ahead

The team have also been testing a new range of Soft Hooking Pellets, Hard Banding pellets and a new even better formula for the soft feed pellets which now bind together even better than before with no detriment to their ability to return to their normal size once in the water; these have been very successful and have caught large quantities of fish caught, not just from commercial waters but from what might be termed old-fashioned lakes that rely on natural stocking levels rather than introduced stock. This pellet range is available in our existing flavours.
